Dwell is a day long mini eco festival to be held on the 25th of August at 199 Brisbane St. Ipswich. An empty shop space will be transformed into the venue for a boutique market, a 'green' fashion showcase and a sustainability forum.

Markets will run from 9am - 2pm and feature local handmade and fairtrade produced wares. You will also be able to view the entries to our UPcycled wedding dress competition and cast your vote for the people's choice award.

In the evening, between 6 and 9pm we will be presenting a 'green' fashion parade and sustainability forum. Tickets for the evening events are $25 with $10 from each ticket sold going to Ipswich Habitat for Humanity. The fashion parade will showcase garments from local designers who make their own or produce their wares under fairtrade arrangements.

The days events will conclude with a sustainbility forum hosted by Gil Burgh of The Swich Contemporary Art Space, discussing the topic -  "living sustainably through our consumer choices" with guest speakers from a range of different backgrounds offering their own unique views on this huge topic.

We're very excited to be hosting this little event and would love you to join us for what we hope will be both an entertaining and enlightening day.
